    Hey Ron,

    In the fisrt pic of the damage, I noticed that the Refill didn't look right, was it a parker style??? It seems to not have a long enough nib bit (for want of a technical Term)this may put extra stress on the pen parts?? it also llooks thicker than normal.

    Sorry harry ... missed this post as I'm not allowed on the 'puter when the she-tyrant is home (supposed to be resting so I can work 10-12 hrs to make sure she can go shopping)

    This is a uniball refill ... it is fussy and you have to make sure it seats.
