pen repairs
Hello Everyone
thought it was about time i stopped being under the radar
but as usual i have a question
one of the Doctors at my wifes work asked he if i would have a look at some of his fountain pensand maybe fix them for him 2 were easy fixes, the the other 2 i would like some advice on
they are both Mont Blanc fountain pens

(yes the photos are not real good)
apparently he changed the orginal nib for a finer nib, now they both leak
would it be just a simple thing of re fitting the nibs or could it be another issue all together
thankyou in advance for any feed back
cheers Tony

Tony if you unscrew the nib section from the body you should be able to see the bladder and see if is the culprit. Then place the nib section in an ultrasonic bath they are reasonably cheap to purchase. Once clean, use tap water to flush if no access to an ultra sonic cleaner, then remove the nib and examine the feed it cold have been damaged or the nib section not seating properly. A few better picture if you can in the disassembled sate may help locate your problem.
Parker's are much harder to work on take my word
