Pen Swap pen
Hey There,
Larry who organized the last pen swap, did a swap with me, I received his pen on Friday, It has Curly Maple Barrel and a Blackwood Top, with a Brass Shavings Inlay, (the lucky bugger has a Beall Pen Wiz Jigger), and he also sent some Redwood Burl blanks, a Cocobolo and a Strawberry Swirl Acrylic Blank. a couple of the Blanks are 'Was Tree' (unknown)
A Strawberry Vanilla Icecream
B Cocobolo
C Redwood Burl
D Was Tree
E Was Tree
F Redwood Burl

Lovely gift and some nice timber to protect it in its travels
Bugger now I feel motivated to see what I can produce without a "Beal" lol. That redwood burl looks very similar to some of our "OZ" burls cheers ~ John

Hey Troy,
This Pen was for the Aussie Day Pen swap through these forums, I had some hassles with my original partner, and Larry come to the rescue. I did end up getting a pen friom my original partner, but it took a while.
My PITH partner has contacted me and we are on the same page at this stage, I will be posting his Pen tomorrow and I will be posting it on this Forum later in the week, I showed the LOML and she says I should make him another and keep this one for us!
. If I keep doing this I will need a Wall unit to display them.
