    Default Pen Turning Tools

Aldi is having another tool sale this Saturday. There are a couple of items that are great for pen making. Check them out

You probably have a dozen of each anyway, however I did manage to get a nice set of rasps that are great for pen turning for around $9 or $20 in WA money. Enjoy that country in the west and look up Ian Allen (to steal his casting secrets - but don't tell him that). You will enjoy seeing his snakes and tarantulas - what a bonus

Some good buys there for the money.

Bench grinder $30 (although there is no way I would put my woodturning chisels near that thing!)

    Belt & Disc sander $130

    Digital calipers $20

    Table vice $15

Set of drawers (great for keeping kits and tubes into their separate types) $20

    Oscilating multi-tool $40

The belt and disk sander is great for sharpening. The disc is useless but the belt works well tilted at a 45° angle.
