So you have moved up from the Nail hole to a proper plastic stand.
The rope twist looks really good.Jim Carroll

Amazing how one small machine can open up the variety of pens and permutations ,well done probably have to be a bit more selective with suitable materials as apart from a natural finish ,you may have to perfect the dipping finish to reaaly make these standout , cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

Fred
I have downloaded the template however it is glued whatever in front and in contact with the mandrel device and when you come to engage the locking pin dissapears from view in that area. I have IMHO a great solution to this I will send a pic of the finished result when I have finished this week making it. I am also making one for Don in the USA. Fairly involved design and build but a forever solution.
Making a dust extraction system as well the old Dremel sure can spit particles everywhere, fine stuff at that.
Please send me a copy of your latest listing for cartridges etc I will pm my E Mail address so with using yours will enable me to bring you up to date with my several redesign methods with the Pen Wizard in photos.
Regards Peter

Stephen
Really enjoyed your rope twist and lathe work, your pic also shows the clean cutting detail.
I am still in the building mode for my unit and have a way to go with that. Is your unit messy in use with my home made pen mill I had to fit dust extraction cause of the fine dust and shavings out the back.
Regards Peter.

Yes Fred some people just have far to many toys. I would not like to price the cost of a pen from that setup
