    Default Pencil Blank

    So.... I had some free time up my sleeve last week, and ended up looking on the internet for ideas for pen blanks. While I was on You Tube I found a few guys trying to make a pen from coloured pencils, but there were no images of the finished products! So I set myself the challenge lol. After a few attempts, this is what I came up with. Picture quality is not the best just snapped a few on the phone as I went along.

    Hey Bundy, that looks great.
    I have seen a few of these done over on the IAP. Have been thinking about trying one for myself, but just havent got around to it yet.
    I have heard a few comments that its hard to get all the bits to stay together while you are turning the blanks, did you have any trouble with yours ?

    Yes I did Ironwood the first 2 pens I made just would not hold, I had bits of pencils flying everywhere... This is my 3rd pen

    That sounds a similar story to what I heard. I guess stabilizing with CA as you go would be in order.
