The first is a (Stabilized Maple), CA finish and the seconded is (Sapeie), friction varnish finish.

Very nice. Slimlines are great for using your imagination and there is no limit to what you can do with them. Some don't like the wasp waist and prefer a smooth transition between blanks but that comes down to personal taste. I think you have done a great job. Congratulations.
