My latest pens
The two in the box are a gift for my wife's uncles' 60th Birthday this weekend, hope he likes them.
Other one is for my sister-in-law
It was the one where my wife said she doesn't like the glossy finish

Well done. A gift made by hand if a gift they will love.

Hey Arry,
Looks like you got your Barron problem sorted
The Gloss finish is a personal thing, I took some of my pens over East to show a few people and some people accused me of polishing off the CA Finish ( the Nerve ) I like the Natural look and feel of the Timber, The old fella who introduced me to Woodturning said that if you handed a blind man something that you turned he should be able to tell that it's Timber by the Feel, but I have found that the Clients do want the glossy-shiny finish.

Lovely work Arry, the choice of finish in the eye of the beholder. If they want natural that's a good choice the the customer is always right you just need to establish what they want first.
I have a customer that buys high end but does not want any finish on the timber just sanded and polished with MM

Well done Arry. They came out very well. As has been said, the finish is in the eye of the beholder. CA glows and preserves versus the natural finish that looks great but stains with sweat.
