    Default Some pens

    Hi,

Have you ever had a time when you were making pens and nothing was going right? That happened to me. I destroyed some kits. Had timber shatter. Put parts into pens the wrong way. Everything seemed to be going wrong. That may have something to do with me being preoccupied with the fact that my job had been advertised and as such I had to apply for it.: Never make pens when your mind is preoccupied.

So today I decided to try again. BTW I have an interview this coming thursday. My mind was less stressed and I actually made 2 pens that are ok. Made with JR Gentleman kits. One fountain the other rollerball. Timber is hairy bark oak finished with 600 grit sandpaper, 12000 micromesh, EEE Cream and Shellawax. I think they look ok. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks for looking.

    Todd

Nice bit of workTodd. I have had many of those days and ended up buying a set of transfer punches to recover the pen kits. Best of the luck with the interview.
