    Default New pens

    Hi,

Have got into the shed to make some pens. Am trying some different styles. These are Polaris kits from the wonderful people at timberbits.

The first couple are hairy bark oak. The next are iron bark and then jr gent in hairy bark oak.

Am quite satisfied with the Polaris pens for a first effort. The JR Gent is ade to order - they want it extra fat.

    Thanks for looking.

    Todd

nice work, the dark patches in hairy oak always add some character to a pen

the finish looks to be a satin finish, what did you use

    all the best

Nice work, personally I like the Polaris as a pen and that hairy oak suits the kit.
