here are my 6th 7th and 8th pen,getting better finish ,lousy photos though, camphor,ebony?, gidgee

Pens are ok, I think if you try a flash or external light or even sunlight , it would show them up better, keep at it. Amos

Very nice!
I got a couple sets of those work light things (1KW of light!) and set them up to best effect and then set the camera's color balance to tungsten. Works pretty well.
