    Thumbs up Pens

They look good' Suggest you try Shellawax as a finish.
Always helpful to name your timbers.

Rod another nice bunch of pens that you have done there. Like the others have said about the Ubeaut range of products for finishing pens.

Also explore other finishes like Danish Oil, like Skew uses, you have Brett using Rustins plastic coat poly u, my preferred finish is CA, some timbers are oily enough you can polish them with out applying a finishing coat to them at all.

Each timber has it's own quality and can be enhanced by the different types of finishes. Though CA is the finish I use, I don't discout the use of Danish Oil on Kingwood or Cocobolo. A lot of the Rosewoods have a natural oil to them and they look good finished with Danish.

Good luck with your preferred finish.

Keep it up Rod, some good turning there, and you will love EEE and Shellawax. Amos
