    Default pens and matching stands

    HI all,

So I got a commission from a sales rep to make 6 pens with matching stands, as well as a stand alone 50 cal for her boss (apparently a bit of a gun collector). So here they are. I apologise for the photo quality. I can't find the charger for our camera so I've reverted to using my mobile phone for the photos:

Huon pine Majestic Squire on birdseye natural carved base. Lacquer dipped pen, base oiled.

Scribbly gum streamline and stand (african blackwood used for the uprights). Pen finished in WOP, stand oiled.

Myrtle Burl slimline. WOP finish on pen, base oiled. The photo doesn't do this timber justice. It's very very figured.

Tiger myrtle 30 cal bullet. Lacquer dipped.

    Queensland walnut sierra, lacquer dipped.

African blackwood sierra with matching stand. Both oiled. The stand is partly carved to try and look as much like a tree stump as possible. Not sure it worked out .

    Conkerberry 50 cal. Lacquer dipped.

Tiger myrtle pen shown with matching stand. Uprights for business card holder made of african blackwood.

Queensland walnut shown with stand. Turned, then planed at the base. Pen finished with WOP, stand oiled.

Phew... that's about it Thanks for looking. If I can get the camera up and running I may post better photos later.

Thanks guys. Again, sorry the photos aren't great. I really do need to find my camera charger. Phone cameras are very very average.
