Default Pens from the last month

    Hi,

Have been making a few pens in the shed. Started making acrylic pens and am quite happy with the result. I have also made some timber pens from a variety of timbers.

The acrylic pens were sanded to 600, then MM to 12000 and finished with Brasso. Timber sand to 600, MM to 12000, EEE and Shellawax.

In order - Camphor Laurel, beefwood, hairy bark oak, boodgeroo, gidgee, mulga, acrylics, camphor laurel iron bark and mulga. I was asked to make 5 polaris pens from timber grown in the Charleville region. Beefwood, hairy bark oak, boodgeroo, gidgee and mulga were all grown within 20 kms of my shed. The pens are for this ladies father who is a wood collector. I reckon he will be happy.

    Thanks for looking.

    Todd
