Hello John
Very soon I hope to do my first watch part pen. I waiting for some Imperial kits. If I am going to put that kind of time and effort into making these pens I am going to put them on an expensive kit and will be charging around $1000. Weather or not i am able to sell any will be a test of time
As to your pen I do not like the kit but your effort in making the blank shows. I am sure the cutomer is always right as they say. Not sure why you did not put a watch face in there though or maybe I missed it. Not sure people would realize what all those little do-dads are without a watch face to depict is was at one time a watch. Always enjoy your work.

Thanks John for the comments a couple of things with this kit there is plenty of room to put some of the chunkier parts ,the body is longer than a sierra and at the big dia is 9/16" ,uses a standard dia sierra tube so gives more scope over all. I have lots of watch parts ,but very few faces, these I reserve for the larger more expensive kits Cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

yep, great arrangement and finish etc, but I also don't like the kit
Watch faces, I also don't have any and hence do not include them, but was thinking about just printing some on a white transfer. Think would work?Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Lookin good John. That will be sure to put a smile on the customers face.
I have just got some stainless steel Liberty kits from Lazerlinez, they use a Sierra tube and have 12.9mm finished size, so a bit more than the Sierra, but still a bit less than the Phoenix by the sound of it.Brad.

Hey John, isn't there an ebay over there?? I get all my watches from ebay. You can get a ton of watches for very little money.
I understand about the kit and all and the customer will be the tell all factor so if they like it you have a winner.
I have so many ideas that I want to try and being I did get the clearance from the Docs I hope to make it back to the shop. But I am also at another crossroad because my Mom was not doing well for the last couple weeks so time spent there. She is getting back to herself abit and there is a little less anxiety. Hey at 90 years young she is allowed to be under the weather for a time. But these type watch pens are on to do list for sure. I also need to work out some details that I want to use so hopefully that will go well. May have to do some experimenting.

Nice job John, personnally I like the kit you have chosen, I also like the fact that you haven't overcrowded the blank with gears
