pics for the 2011 mystery swap
ok guys
heres the thread for posting the pics from the mystery swap box
the ONLY RULE is that when you get the box you can take out as little or as much as you like as long as you replace the box with goodies from your stash
anything related with pen turning can go in the box
timber pen blanks , acrylic, homemade casts, pen kits , anything at all
PLEASE REMBER TO WEIGH THE BOX ON YOUR KITCHEN SCALES
as 3kg limit on the box 3kg ish
when you recieve the box ONLY TAKE AND POST PHOTOS OF WHAT YOU TAKE OUT NOT WHAT IS IN THE BOX OR WHAT YOU PUT IN if you dont get around to taking photos of what you take you get hounded by all reading this thread
i have done the draw tonight and making sure that the box travels interstate everytime it travels i will be contacting the first lucky person for their address and get it moving for the weekend
let the games beginLast edited by mkypenturner; 2nd June 2011 at 10:57 PM. Reason: misspelt word

ian how it works is i have written each name down on a sheet of paper with a number beside them with their state beside their name in order of which they replied to joining the swap that way i don't miss anybody .
I then get another piece of paper and write the same amount of numbers down the page and also write them down onto a scrap piece that i tear up and put in a jar and draw them out just like a lucky dip that way it is totally random and see which person that number is the only time a put a number back into jar is if the person before is from the same state ensuring that each time it move it crosses a state border as we all have different timbers that isnt available in your own state or maybe even extra lucky and find a heap of exotics form overseas
as for your address details i dont need them but the person before you will
i have the list drawn here ( only known by myself hence a mystery ) i have contacted the first person telling them they are next for the box so i send them a PM and ask for their address and send it to them when they get it they take out what they want take a pic or 2 of ONLY what they take and put some goodies back in the box
they then send me a pm to ask for the next person which i then give their user name they send they next in line a PM for their address so only myself and the person that has the box and the next inline knows where it is untill that lucky person brags on this thread that its coming their way
sorry its a long read but hopefully its clear to those that joined this time round
so to keep it moving quickly when you get the request for your address go out and buy a 3 kg prepaid bag that will keep it moving along

I would have liked to have joined in this year but we will be O.S for 6 - 8 weeks later in the year and still not sure of travel dates. Look forward to following the parcels travel and pics all the same.
