pics from the 2012 mystery swap
ok guys
since there is a few new members joining this years swap please read last years thread
https://www.woodworkforums.com/f69/pi...y-swap-136198/
and when you take some goodies out remember to put in stuff you would like to receive
NO FIREWOOD !!
heres the thread for posting the pics from the mystery swap box
the ONLY RULE is that when you get the box you can take out as little or as much as you like as long as you replace the box with goodies from your stash
anything related with pen turning can go in the box
timber pen blanks , acrylic, homemade casts, pen kits , anything at all
PLEASE REMBER TO WEIGH THE BOX ON YOUR KITCHEN SCALES
as 3kg limit on the box 3kg ish
** and rember never take it to the counter of the post office as the parcel sometimes goes over the 3 kg and they make you pay more or ask you to take stuff out
when you recieve the box ONLY TAKE AND POST PHOTOS OF WHAT YOU TAKE OUT NOT WHAT IS IN THE BOX OR WHAT YOU PUT IN if you dont get around to taking photos of what you take you get hounded by all reading this thread
i have done the draw tonight and making sure that the box travels interstate everytime it travels i will be contacting the first lucky person for their address and get it moving for the weekend
let the games begin

ooops i forgot to mention
that for everyone involved the only cost besides what you put back in ( quality stuff NO FIREWOOD ) is the cost of a aust post 3 kg bag to send to the next in line
also this year i will be asking random people to take pics of the entire contents
so i can manage for quality controlLast edited by mkypenturner; 3rd July 2012 at 08:57 PM. Reason: missed a word

When you make a post ,if you scroll down you will see a section called "Manage attachments" clicking that will open a dialog box to browse to the picture you want to post on your computer . Select it and then upload, make sure your picture is resized to 800x600 to fit forum rules , hope thats clear ,cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

I've got a parcel to collect from yesterday and have no idea what it is because I haven't ordered anything lately. Hmm, I wonder.

Bad luck boys, I am now officially allowed to gloat ..... the mystery box is coming to me first .... clearly the correct decision!!!!
Will I be able to decorate it once again or has mkypenturner already done that ???? I'll just have to wait and see!!!!
Now I wonder how long HazzaB will have to wait!!! Gee it was fun watching him sweat it out last time .... so close, yet so far HazzaB!
Thanks for allowing me to be apart of this once again

Hey Troy, how do we re- post the parcel without taking it to the post office, and giving it to the staff over the counter ?. Will it fit into a red mail box ?.
I never forget anything I remember !!
