Default pics from a xmas present from timberbits

hi guys , i was also one of the lucky ones that david at timberbits sent a sample of his new sierra stylus's to , but being away from my lathe for 5 weeks on a semi holiday ,staying at the beach and going to work instead of home and the bush anyway i have seen a few pics posted of the pen kits , they look really great and since i was slower to get them made and posted i had to think of what to put on them and decided to use timber for 2 and resin for the other 2 finished with C A then sanded to 12 k then polished with car polish
i decided to use some timbers and stuff not posted here for awhile HRB ( honduras rosewood burl) , conkerberry , cholla catus and finally pasta in resin
all pics taken using my new light tent that turned up today any tips welcome

    Nice work on the pens

I think your background would be better without the fold marks
You'll need to experiment with lighting
I use one each side - high and low but I should experiment more
