Pignut Hickory
After spending the bulk of the morning under the sun cutting blanks, I decided to get in the garage and near a fan(the sun was crisping me while the humidity was making things yuck). Grabbed a stick from the top of the stack and came up with this.
Yup, you know it....Crosscut somewhat spalted Pignut Hickory on a Jr. Gent I chrome rollerball!
Had a few worm trails in this one that needed a 'helping hand' from some thinCA(weird that it turns the powder in the hole black-it started out white-ish)....and I seemed to have got a funny color on the tip on the ink stick again.
Thanks for looking!
Comments and critiques always welcome!!!
Scott (did you know there are 10 types of hickory in the USA) B
