Never heard of the timber but it looks great. The pen is really nice, what finish are you using?

Never heard of that timber before, Peter, but you did a great job with it. Nicely shaped, not too wild, and a shiny finish.

Buzz
Conkerberry is grown in WA. found in the bush, ask around.,My finish is back to normal Super Glue and I argued today so I turned it off then my always finish is.
Flat of the skew chisel for final shaping call it what it is scraping, gives about a 400 grit finish, the 1000 grit wet and dry, one coat of sanding sealer burnished, then one coat U Beaut burnished, wax stick burnished. Simple and the pen feels like wood is well finished.
Promises of new stock of Conkerberry so far useless, want to buy some now, true solid and beautiful.

Peter,
I always enjoy looking at your pens. I like the contour a lot. The wood is great and your finish is top notch. Of course, your photography to be envied.

very unusual looking timber .. I like it! Sort of a 'rusty' look bleeding through.
