    This Pate knife has a birdseye Tas. Myrtle handle. Timber courtesy of Sam. Finish is CABLO x8 then Shellawax.

    very nice handle

    but I wonder if there is any point in shellawax after BLO/CA

    I thought shellawax was a burnish into the timber type finish
