poinciana (sp?)
a bloke across the road has chopped down a lot of his poinciana tree, wondering if i should be getting my hands on it real fast or if there are any issues with turning it and or curing it, i did a quick search and found it was classified here as an introduced weed. however i could find no details on turnery for it (my search was fast an breif).
Cheers fellas.
Neal.

Generally agree with the above comments BUT I have a few well dried pieces that are in need of attentio.
Apparently wearing a mask is a must as the dust can be a nasty iiritant.

Leave some pieces in a shaded mouldy spot and it should spalt up well. You will need to stabilise them, but may be worth it.
