Polaris Pen and pencil set
As I have said in an earlier post I have been on a bit of a roll for a few days now and have been trying to boost the Variety of Timber based pens that I have because I was beguining to dominate my stock with acrylics. So here is a Gold Polaris Pen and Pencil set that has been finished with New Guinea Rosewood Burl and finished in about 20 coats of Medium CA. I had not made a polaris pencil before and to my surprise the mechanisim in the pencil seems quite good
The New Guinea Rosewood Burl looks far better in the flesh rather than any photo I could have taken. They are very good looking blanks.
Your Thoughts ?

Looking good
The Polaris pencil is a good mechanism and uses a 0.7mm lead in lieu of the normal 0.5mm that breaks all the time.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
