PrimerT Jr Statesman
This is my second pen useing Loctite PrimerT for a CA activator.
Mangrove Cedar on a Jr Statesman.
The humidity has dropped a tad here, I hope its not just because of that I am having a bit of luck again, time will tell I guess.

Cheers Troy and the Johns.
The primer t cost $15 for the can, not so cheap initially, but will probably work out at less than 20 cents a pen.
A lot more than the $3 for the Glen20, but if it works I am happy.
I lost plenty of good blanks using the ncf pump spray, and after my good run with Glen20 ran out, I ruined a few good blanks also, including a one in a million blank that was going to go on this Jr Statesman. I had to redo one of the barrels so many times it lost some of its colour, ended up being a couple of shades lighter than the cap barrel.

Yep. not all things go to plan , I think a bottle of "Tullamore Dew" left at the door of the shed to waylay "Murphy" , and if that doesn't slow him down ,next best is a swig yourself lol. I really do hate reworking things as it becomes a real pain and less than cost efficient cheers ~ John eg. when my powdercoating is not as good as I want and I have to soak in acetone and redo the whole lot again
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

I have found no luck at all in regards to any of the Pump activators at all and I think the reason is because you get far to much activator out at a time and in doing that it sets the super glue to quickly and it goes white hence stuffing up the blank.
The best thing that can be done is find a plunger type botle that lets out the least amout of spray as possible. Something like a small purfume bottle might do the trick but thats why I have just stayed with the tried and tested Mitre fix
Good luck to all
Cheers Ian

I did try a couple of different sprayers with the liquid activator, had no real luck with any of them.
I am at the stage where I dont really care how much it costs, as long as it works. I value my time and sanity too much.
I havent tried the Mitrefix, but if the loctite sprays turns out no good, I will be chasing some up.

Thanks Ben.
I am very happy with the Loctite spray so far , but saying that, I was happy with the Glen20 for a couple of weeks as well.
I cant work out why I stopped having success with it, The only variable I can put it down to is the high humidity we had when I started to have the failures.
I might have a play with the Glen20 again one day when I have some spare time. But for now I'll stick with whats working for me.
