Three for the day!
After making a small vessel yesterday, I just couldn't help myself...made some pens!
Here is a few parts from a Gold Jr. Gent I fountain pen kit made into a closed end. The timber is Bimble Box Burl(think I got it from BadDog Burls?)
The next one was a piece out of the 'shorts bucket' of Eastern Red Cedar...kit is a Sierra Trivalent Chrome/Gold from timberbits
And the last is a piece out of another 'shorts bucket' of Crosscut White Oak....kit is a Sierra Trivalent Chrome/Gold from timberbits
Thanks for looking!

Very Nice work.
Personally I not a fan of the Closed End Pen but it is beautiful nevertheless.

I like your closed end pen Scott.
I am having trouble convincing my customers though, a couple have seen the light. Actually, the Parker Rep took a bit of a shine to one of mine the last time he visited me, so thats got to be saying something about them.
What finish did you use on yours ?Brad.

Nice work on all three but the JR is my pick, the closed end pens just seems to make a pen look more hand crafted to me.

Lately I've been using friction polish. I have been getting more burning(of the eyes and sinuses) from CA use, and if it burns it can't be good for a human body! Trust me, I'm using fans to blow air, and I turn near the door, and fresh air is always nearby ~ it's just bothering me....
Thanks for the kind words everyone....I like the closed end also!
