QLD Flood Appeal Pens & Cufflinks
Ok using the blanks Bruce from woodnworkshop to raise money for the flood appeal, I thought I would make a set of pens with cufflinks to be sold at a charity auction to raise even more money.
So here they are, a set of Gold Churchill pens and matching gold cufflinks. I am arranging help to hopefully get a bidding war going between business companies, the Broncos, QLD State of Origin etc going to get a lot more than the $250 I would normally sell these for.
Wish me luck, it is a good cause.

Well done Neil, great gesture. I just hope the money raised gets to where its suppose to go. Strict means test imposed by the state Government seems like only a selected few are even eligible, but great work as usual.
Reality is no background music.

Thanks all
I'm not collecting items to sell at a charity auction, I'm planning to send these to others, as I believe they can get a better price by setting up a bidding war going in the public arena. I'll let you know if plans change, I have a few alternatives, but there is always Ebay with the right wording.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Well after approaching 2 TV channels and a number of radio stations, I didn't have much luck getting them to take up the challenge to auction the pens. I then decided Ebay was the way to go, but even that proved to be painful. As I was trying to raise money for a charity, I had to get permission, and a permit to satisfy all the requirements. I even have to use certain wording about tax crap
All in place now here. I am sending various emails now to help promote the auction.
If you know anyone keen on the Broncos or any other Queensland club using these colours, please pass on the link, hopefully I can raise a decent amount.
