Looks good, all you need to supply is the lathe, chisels & sandpaper
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

    Hey,

Brett is the easiest to deal with. Great service and great products.

If your after timber take a drive to Lazarides. http://www.lazaridestimberagencies.com/about.htm . Great selection of exotic timbers and Gareth who usually on the front desk is a real nice bloke. Very nice timbers. If you have a bandsaw you will be set. They sell tonnes of burl blocks which you'll get a fair few pen blanks out of. You may pay $5-20 for a nice burl but end up getting 20-30 blanks out of it depending on what size you need.

If you haven't got a bandsaw they do have pen blanks there but the price always goes up for them.

wow thanks BJ i have been finding it hard to get timber here in Brisbane most of what i have was given to me with the lathe and most im not sure if i should use but there are small bits that will be perfect for pens like some silver ash i think theres some maple there but latter ill be going out to see these people

no i don"t have a band saw im just a poor teen (sorry neglected to tell you all that im 16) but ill be getting a full time job soon so a band saw will be the next big investment oh but i can get some one to cut the blanks for me at the wood turning group on the bandsaw there

thanks for your help oh and i like your website

    Patrick
