Quercus Corrugata
Pen blank with a Gold Twist Sierra.
Native to Belize, parts of Mexico and Central America.
This blank was one of the blanks I won on IAP
5th Birthday Bash for Best New Article.
Finished with 6 coats of Minwax Clear Gloss Poly.
As always comments and or suggestions appreciated.

Beautiful finish as usual ,And the timber seems to blend with the gold very nicely ,always nice to get something new to work with ,especially as a reward for effort hehe, Cheers ! John

The pen swirls around and around in a lovely way like toffee or chocolate the colours blend and remind me of caramel topping all of these I enjoy, the timber is one I have not seen before and thanks for showing your masterpiece in kit,timber impeccable finish and exciting photography the complete package.
