I use Shellawax over the finished CA/BLO to add some extra shine.

Really? Does it stick? I'd have thought it would rub right off again?

I have wondered whether EEE would be any good as a polish on CA? Haven't been game to try it though.

Nothing to loose in trying the Shellawax, takes only seconds to do. It will obviously wear away eventually, but it does go off against the CA and certainly gives an extra shine for display purposes in the shop.

My Slimlines (I do hundreds of the damn things) only get one coat of CA/BLO and then Shellawax. I was looking at a closed end Slimline kept on our counter, used by customers for signing EFTPOS dockets, and us behind the counter every day, which has been in use now for nearly three years. Still has a nice shine to it.

EEE may be a little too abrasive, I don't know exactly how coarse it is. I've used white diamond on a buffing wheel to also finish CA/BLO finishes and that worked well too.
