    Hey Troy,

I don't do any casting myself, but I would go with what you like first, then what ever the punters want,

I'm colour blind, so colours don't matter to me, probably Black and White as starters, then you have to have Pink, Yellow, Blue (Light and Dark) Green, Brown or whatever blows up your Kilt,

As stated in the thread about the Brass showing through the blank, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
    Just my thoughts

I have only casted a couple but I agree with Hazza just remeber K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) I have no problems with the brass tube showing if adds to the character of the blank I have done a few with the brass tube showing and have had no problems selling them good luck and I cant wait to see what you come up with

Troy ! have a look here for some inspiration I mostly do embedded or clear casting ,so not a lot of advice on colors ,you do need very little color to mix with the casting agent ,you can use translucent colors if you want to show the body underneath, I do stainless ,and sometimes use that method to make a different effect, I bought these to complement my work and expand my options ,they go a long way and are great on w/w and such things if you want some life in the color . You can use these in small amounts to color your resin ,or mix with colors to get that sparkle effect in your blanks , hope that helps give you some ideas ,as like most things color and so on are personal things
    cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!
