    Default A few more Questions

    Hi Guys

I was wondering if micro mesh was used on only acrylics or on wood as well ?

Also can you make your own acrylics and if so where do you get the supplies ?

    Hi Kanga,

Like Toni, I use MM on Acrylics and wood, and as Toni says, wet on plastics and dry on wood and composites (Dymondwood and Colourwood).

I use it dry on both - whats the advantage of wet on acrylics?

HI Brett using it wet on acrylics stops the sanding marks totally and gives it a shinier finish

Brett as said by all use wet on acrylic, corian and opalac. Dry on timber. But as always use a foam backing pad if you can for even pressure and light touches and if you have any fillets(sharp edges) not to much pressure as they will burn lines in the MM.
