Ink refills
Having a bit of trouble with a few JR fountain pen kits. Occasionally when fitting a new refill there is no "click" when it is pushed on to the nib fitting.
This results in the refill coming off far too easily and sometimes filling the nib area with ink. Also the refills (tops) are a bit too large to fit into the pen blank.
Sometimes I have to push quite hard to actually get them into the body. Probably easier to stick to roller ball ink systems however I get a few customers who want the old fountain pen system.
Any ideas for a cure would be appreciated.

Make sure the spear hasn't been snapped off nib end. If they are twisted at all when putting on or off they break easily.
