    Default Re-Engineered Pen Blanks

In Christmas colors using saved wood shavings from turning pen blanks.
Kits are Sierra Gold and Black kits.
Blanks are sanded to 400x, buffed with Super Fine Steel Wool and polished with Hut Ultra Gloss.

The first one used Dyed Green Maple wood shavings.
The second one used Bloodwood shavings.
The third is a mixture of the green Dyed Maple and the Bloodwood.

Hopefully these will sell at the up coming Christmas Craft sales?????

    Les

You're just making me jealous that I'm not out playing in the shed

    Nice work as usual

Have you tried casting the spirals obtained when drilling out an acrylic blank?

I have some saved and tried once and found the threads are too brittle to stay intact.
Will be try "Plan B" soon.
