Cheers,

Thanks rummy, but I have to send out a huge THANKS to someone on here who suggested using a draughtsman chair to sit and turn, I picked one up on ebay for $38.00 and it has made my life so much better.
But thanks rummy for your thoughts, the funny thing was that it was the only Cats blank I had and the customer was picking it and 2 others up that afternoon.
Poor bugger got robbed of $200.00 that morning and can't make it till Friday..............woohoo. I've got two ready for the lathe, hope I at least get one finished.
Six year old grandson is a mad keen Cats fan and is always in the shed with me and I've had some real bad luck with the Cats pens, I finally got one for him and when he saw this one he said "broke another one Pa" and laughed. Those who can do, those who can't don't.....................I think?

If I had a nickel......well, let's just say I'd have a lot of nickels.
What kind of blank was this?

Could not have happened to a better team go the bombers

I hope your customer is happy with the end result.Cheers Rum Pig
