    Default A Recent One

I turned this for the IAP swap.
A Black Ti Sedona wrapped in Douglas Fir. The timber is from here on the Olympic Peninsula, sanded to 400, 8 coats of CA/BLO and buffed with Autosol.

    Very nice Dick!
That timber looks great with Black Titanium Sedona FP without the Clip.
Your swap recipient will be proud to own that one.

    Whaler1,

The Douglas Fir looks great against the Black Ti fitting of the Sedona. I like the idea of no clip on the pen and the design of the closed end. The CA/BLO looks great and a seamless transition from components to the barrel. Your IAP swap partner should be pleased with that pen in their collection.

A very pleasing look you have produced there.
I like the clean lines that the closed ends give.

    Dick,

Neat pen on a roll there.

I care for the way you reversed the top to provide interest in the grain, the piece de resistance the knot , just the pen for a desk pen resting in a groove.

When I first looked without glasses I thought well he kept to the challenge of Pine but assisted viewing showed the subtle detail. Looks great on the other site as well.

    Bravo mate.

    Kind regards Peter.
