The finish on those pens, and very nice pens they are, looks excellent

The more I see of the Rustins Finish, the more I want to try it.

Question, did you use the method in Froggie's instruction sheet, ie with the CA first, or did you use another method.

Rule 1, the customer is always right

Rule 2 if the customer is wrong, refer to Rule 1

Thanks Big Shed, yes Rustins finish as per Froggies instructions with CA as sealer. Four coats of Rustins with 48 hours to cure. I really can't see myself going back to CA now, a little goes a long way too. I made up another 8ml this morning and have barely used any of it after 5 pens. It's in the fridge now so might have to get a few more on the go just to use the Rustins before it goes off.

On a side note, my parents live in Rochester and I have a Gran in law in Bendigo so we usually drop in for a visit when we are down that way. My Gran used to live in Bendigo too.

Because the file doesn't belong to me, it belongs to Brett and would need his permission to do so, so you may as well email Brett for it.

Sam, I really do like this finish. Have another four barons and an americana that should be good to go this afternoon. Am going to look at the $2 shops to see if I can find some small glass jars for the mixed up finish as the jars I am using now are just too big for the small amount needed.

Corbs, I use the canisters that the film for cameras come in, just don't scratch the inside, the smooth surface makes it easy for popping any off the coating off if it dries.
