The Cambridge is the same size as well

The bottom barrell needs a 31/64" bit to give you a hint of the size
I was going to post a piccy of one in huon, but I have to refinish it as I stuffed it up yesterday

Tassie Eucalyptus burl can also look pretty speccy
Definite possibilities there. Any chance you could measure the diameter of the black section of the one your working on SM???

Thanks for the info Nick and you're right - too small for the lad.

Thanks for all the help guy's - got it all under control now . Got a Fat Albert (16mm grip) and a Fat Albert Jnr (13mm grip) on the way from 043 Turning and some myrtle burl coming from MIK Just a matter of putting it all together now

    Default Update!

Got the Fat Alberts finished tonight - these are seriously thick pens and I'm stoked with the way they came up. Nearly a disaster with the Junior when I realised I had put the plastic bit in backwards but luckily I managed to pull the end off with out damaging anything and got it sorted. Thanks again for the Myrtle MIK . Now it's up to the niece to decide which one she wants and I'll keep the other one for myself - love the way they write
Also finished a box out of Banksia for a Purple Gidgee pen and pencil set for the LOML to send to her brother - must remember to take some dimensions so I don't have to re-invent it next time I make one.
