The Red Emperor Limited Edition 420
Received this wood from Penpal (Peter), and could not wait to get stuck into it, Red Mallee Burl, dry as chips, so dry that towards the end it was CA then Shave, CA and shave, for about 5 times, then finally finished it by sanding it.(whew, was I glad it didn't blow out). then many coats of CA, and polished with Plastx and Showcar Glaze.
I thought that much of the wood that I put it onto a Limited edition Emperor, hope you enjoy it as much as I did in the making of it, AmosGood, better, best, never let it rest;

Amos,
That has to be one of the best looking pieces of Red Mallee I have seen. Wondering if the Emporer kit was worthy of it lol. Beautiful pen!

Truly remarkable. There are no words to do that pen justice. Well executed on all levels. Well done, Amos.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.

I'm not a fan of the really intricate kits, as I think they can have a tendency
to overpower the subtlety of the wood grain. But this looks simply amazing.

Many thanks thus far, Kruger, I haven't made that many,! the supplier made only 500 of those pens to sell to wood turners,they have an 18K gold nib and are inscribed with a lazer near the top clip.
I still wish I could really capture the beauty of that pen, photographs don't do it justice, OR, rather my photography doesn't do it justice, I guess I will just have to make another one and see if the photos turn out better!!! AmosGood, better, best, never let it rest;
