Default Even more Red Oak Burl on

    a Navigator Fountain Pen.

Ten dips in Lacquer, this one needed a little polish with Hutts Plastic Polish, it had just a touch of "orange peel" to it and I didn't want to dip it any more, the finish would build up past the hardware size if I did.

Nicely done! That finish looks amazing....how does it stand up against the CA finish over time? Or have you had any feedback?

Cant really say, I have only done a few CA finishes, so...
I can say I have had only one pen come back due to finish problems, but that was because it was dropped down a flight of marble stairs in a train station and nicked up bad, she said it hit every single one of them on the way down...sanded, then dipped it again, happy customer!
