in the better pens that i make a i put them into a single box also from timberbits and i fill out a little card with all of the details including boxed price, unboxed price, kit details, refill type and wood

i tried playing with the swing tags but i thought it detracted from the look of the pen

That is a very neat way providing all the info
one day when I get organised I might try something like that

funnily enough, i can remember what timber each pen i have made is! although some burls are hard to remember so and especially when im not sure they just become a 'burl of somesort, most likely xyz'...

i tried the tag idea when i first started and found it was too much hassle and looked dodgy so i stuck paper on the top of theose clear cases you can get but then i kept runnning out of boxes...

Yeh that would work, until those pesky customers pick up heaps of pens, then proceed to put them back out of order

its usually pretty easy to work out from the prices on the tags and the woods as to which pen belongs where, done it heaps of times

    Hey Guys,

I have also tried the String Tags and found it a bit (No a lot of a pain PITA) I have organised a box of those little stickers that you see in the Jewelery shops, about 12mm diameter discs that stick together around the clip. I plan on writing the price and a stock number on that and having a card done with the details to go with the purchased pen. (Sounds good I better get my s#&t together and get it happening)

That sounds like a good idea. No strings attached I thought of a sticky label but never thought of putting it around the clip, was worried about it harming the finish, guess I'm just a dum dum.
