By Request :)
Never let your mrs browse the pen sites, Mine wanted this A filigree fountain pen, I could not find one anywhere so made a hybrid ,too complicated to go into much detail hehe ,had to make special bushings and so on ,but finished it and in spite of being told it couldn't be done by a so called expert here's the results in Zebrawood her choice as well
Sorry about the size (haven't figured the thumbnails bit yet)

That is a mind blowing pen... great work. How did you do the filligree on the top?
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

mate the filigree was taken from a "classic filigree kit" as they don't have a fountain pen I used a designer style fountain pen and made modified bushings to adapt the filigree section ,as the wood has to be undersize from both the centreband and the filial so it slides on and ends up flush, told her she can;t take it to work .not keen to make more hehe, she really has a one off I will make the leftover filigree pen kit into something less ambitious hehe, so no wasted bits. Thanks for the comments !

Very nice indeed, good bit of lateral thinking there.
I have had some Berea filigree rose gold one sitting in stock for a few years, must get around to doing some thing with them.
Greenie sent for a good job.

Don't worry about the 'thumbnail'. At least you can see it very good. Very nice pen.

Good workmanship and ingenuity, outstanding pen, Amos, and I like the size of the picture, can see it without having to click away. Amos
