Jr. Gent roller ball in Koa. Can't bring wood or branches to Canada from Hawaii so opted for a wooden spoon set.

I take it that you cut up the spoon set to provide the pen blank, where theres a will, theres a way
The Acasia's give us some beautiful timber to work with, we have many different species here in Australia, quite a few of them look similar in appearance to Koa.Brad.

Excellent workaround Stuart, neat pen. I used to buy large spoons in Palm Tree from Africa to get the timber.
