Jus, lovely burl great pen, could I make a suggestion, it looks like the cap fittings should have been the other way around so that the wood from each half matched up? , hope you don't mind, but set me straight if there is a reason. Amos

Hey Amos, thanks for the compliment
This is the way the blank ran, I was careful to match the grain. Its not obvois from teh photo but in any case its a reminder that sometimes you need to match it the way your eye sees it rather than by the book

    Very nicely done Justin!

Yes, understood Jus, have had that happen to me too, take a photo with the cap on, and try the 3 different postions it can sit at, see which is the best, that way we will get the idead of the blank. Amos

    Hi Justin.

Love the pen. Great texture in the blank.

A few more photos of the pen may better explain things.

    Thanks for sharing

Lovely blank and kit work well together. Same as Amos said. we would love to see a picture of the pen with the cap in place so we could get the full effect of the beautiful grain and pattern in that blank. Great looking pen.
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John
