Roman Harvest Red Gum FP
This piece of Red Gum was cut on the cross to show off the grain, the finish is CA, the special feauture on the barrel especially for Arry, I too had a blow out!!, filled it with sawdust and CA, then sanded down, and call it a special skilful feauture purposely manufactured!!!, don't tell anyone Arry!. Here it is, hope it is acceptable! Amos

Amos, what a beautiful pen. You could always say that you have encapsulated and preserved a wood borer in your design and have captured one of natures mystery the happens beneath the bark. Beautiful transition of the barrels to components and a smooth and flawless finish my friend.
Cheers

A real eye popper Amos!!
With some timbers, Red Gum being one, the best wat to show graain is by cross cutting.
