Default Rose pen with a story

The timber in this pen came from a rose bush planted in 1973 in the rose garden of Grossman House Maitland NSW. As a member of the local Rose Society that planted the original garden I btained some dead wood whilst cleaning the garden. I have made the pen and place a red rose decal on it. The finish is Wipe on Poly

The first picture is Grossman House and the second and third of the pen. just added some better pictures

Very clever idea, with the added twist of the story it make the pen very unique.

Sam, love it, great story behind it all also, these type of pens have a "value" that cannot be bought. Amos

    Thumbs up

Good one Sam!! A nice story to boot!!

That is a very historically interesting area and the house is quite typical.
