Rosewood Burl
Just wanted to show you some amazing New Guinea Rosewood Burl
that I got from Trevor Gaskell from TG Creations. They are 1X1X 5 1/2", the colours are amazing and the aroma just fills the room. They were cut from a full burl and are still need to air dry, hence the number you see on one. I have them stacked in a warm place with air flow to help dry. I weighed each piece and kept a record of their weight, I will weigh them each Monday to check their progress. They are value for money and well worth the buy.

Some nice pieces there, I also bought several of these blanks a week or so ago along with a nice piece of burl to slice up for box lids. The timber is truly awesome in colour and a lot of Birdseye through it also. should make for some very interesting pens and boxes.
