Cisco - The only place in North America to get Shellwax Glow is at blackforestwood.com. Its a Canadian company, and I'm not sure (and neither was the guy that replied to my email inquiry) if they can ship it across the border. I quit perusing the issue when I found out that the only difference between the Glow and the readily available Shellwax is the color.

Sorry to derail this thread about your beautiful pens, Schaf. I just had another look at them and, yep, they're gorgeous! What a fantastic finish.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.

Love it. I just tried my first pen with the 2-part plastic finish. Not Rustins, but another brand I could find in Canada.
Once dry how to do burnish? I planned on using Micro mesh up to 14000, but love the look of your finish and would like to emulate it (Nice way to say copy)
If this work - good-bye CA!!!!
Thanks,
Elliott

Elliott,
Yes mate,it is a nice finish.
PM froggie who is a member of this forum and ask for a copy of the tutorial on plastic finish.
Froggie is the owner of pen turning supply company here in Australia called "Addictive pens".
He also sells nice Australian burl blanks at a fair price.

I got myself the Rustins plastic coating kit, 20ml syringes and Froggies tutorial.
All I need now is a little motivation to try something new!

I am having trouble with my email and am trying to contact Froggie for his Rustin's procedure. I have already put the first few coats on some pens but would like to see
Froggie's version before I start to burnish. If you're out there Froggie, can you send it to me? Or can somebody else please?

The finished product looks a lot like System Three Mirror Coat...used as a plastic finish...is this a 2 part product?
Stunning depth to the final product, your pens look fantastic...how many coats and how did you apply it?
