Salvaged
I failed with my first attempt at at a captive ring but I managed a salvation job. Gold Longwood, with Honduras Rosewood.
Those who can do, those who can't don't.....................I think?

Yep, I've failed at several attempts at this. One day I will try again. Looks good though.

For some reason I like it, the only thing I would do is lower the ring to the bottom of the clip ( not bellow) well done

They are not as easy to make as it looks. I blew out my first two until I finally got it. I left the clip off so the ring could slide along the pen. If you leave the clip on, I agree with the others, the ring should be further down away from the clip. But a nice job.
