Default satin finish on some slimlines

Thanks to some very helpful advice from HazzaB, I gave a go at making some pens with a low satin finish rather than the usual high gloss.

Here are some which have been sanded to 600 with sandpaper, then sanded dry with micro-mesh to 12,000, then about 8-10 coats of thin CA, then lightly polished with the first grade (1500) of micro-mesh only.

Pens are: 1 - Imbuia (Brazilian Walnut) slimline pencil in gold, 2 - Cedar slimline stylus pen in chrome, 3 - Silky Oak slimline pencil in chrome.

I think it gives a nice subdued finish. Not everyone's thing, but might be good for some.

Hope you like. Comments welcome. Simon.
