Great glue up, the colors work real well.
Dye the maple yourself or store bought blanks?
Seated for the entire process, bandsaw work included?
Would like to see a shot of your shop set up, have a customer who would benefit greatly from a well designed set up, he can stand, but not for long, not wheelchair bound but has to sit.
Trying to find him a table top bandsaw, he can't use his 14" floor model anymore, balance problems scares him to much.
Thanks for posting this, after 6 years ya still got the eye for it!"That's why I love my computer,,,,,,,, my friends live in it."

First seated pen
Hi, no it bought dyed maple, as for bandsaw, I got a stool that sort of leant on but that did not take long to do, could never do one of my patchwork one like I use to do, that we need to rectify a bit. My lathe is just tipped forward on an angle but needs more we found. I am using a cane to get about at this stage but very limited in standing as if I push it, my back locks up (and I do) hubby rouses. Lol. So he helpe me. We kind of set everything up in a u so the lathe and then one side when i spin the chair and I find my grinder and drill press, spin other way is my sander and mini bandsaw, if that makes sense on what we did. I got a big one but for pens, I love my little girl.

Hey Toni, nice work!
A bit of tweaking to your set up and you won't want to be anywhere else.
